ROLLING THUNDER
by Richard Taylor
Sherman tanks played a significant role in supporting the Allied troops during the Normandy campaign and were a welcome sight to those men fighting on the ground.
Richard’s detailed drawing depicts Sherman tanks, having fought their way inland, rumble through the battered streets of a small Normandy town, recently liberated by the US Airborne forces.
