A small original oil study by Philip West, depicting the distinctive Westland Lysander in flight against a moody, atmospheric sky.

Painted as an additional study rather than a larger finished composition, the piece still carries Philip's familiar handling of light, cloud and aircraft form, making it an accessible original for collectors of his work.
