SOUVENIRS - Framed Collector's Piece
by James Dietz
As a lasting tribute to the US Airborne Divisions who fought so bravely on D-Day and throughout the subsequent Normandy Campaign, the piece depicts paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division inspecting their recent 'acquisitions'.
With Jim coming over from across the pond recently, the success of his work here has too - with increasing popularity and acknowledgement of his catalogue of work over the years, and Souvenirs is no exception.
The print is hand-numbered and signed by the artist, PLUS framed to full conservation standards to include the original autograph of Colonel EDWARD SHAMES, who fought in Normandy with Easy Company as part of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.
