THE REGENSBURG MISSION - Framed Collector's Piece
by Gil Cohen
Navigator Harry Crosby records the exact moment of a bomb release during this historic mission carried out by B-17s of the 100th Bomb Group, 17 August 1943. This was one of many costly missions for the "Bloody 100th" but the result had a much deeper impact on the war effort as the Messerschmitt factories at Regensburg had been dealt a crippling blow.
Published in 1994, this is the first copy of this RARE print that we've seen in quite some time and we're seldom able to offer it on the Secondary Market!
Framed beautifully to include USAAF wings, this special print is a 'must have' for collectors of Gil's work!
