DOWN ON THE FARM
by Frank Wootton
A typical Battle of Britain scene by the late great aviation artist Frank Wootton. An RAF Spitfire passes low over a downed Ju-88 startling the livestock on a farm, somewhere in Southern England, 1940.
This is a rare opportunity to collect a classic Wootton print - now moderately sought-after on the Secondary Market - which we're pleased to say is in very good condition!
Hand-numbered in pencil and personally autographed by Frank Wootton and a famous RAF Fighter Ace who flew in the Battle of Britain:
- Wing Commander Bob Doe DSO DFC*
- Media:
- Lithograph
- Size:
- 29.5 x 23 inches
