SUMMER PATROL
by Richard Taylor
With their brightly coloured tails and engine cowlings mirroring the golden sunflowers below, a group of Bf109s of JG53 return from patrol to their base in France, July 1940. The ancient castle has witnessed many conflicts over the centuries and knows that one day this one too will fade into history.
This superb cameo pencil drawing has been reproduced from an original work by Richard Taylor, created in his trademark graphite and paint combination and is limited to just 50 Artist Signed copies.
