OUT OF THE NIGHT - THE FIRST TO GO IN

Silently out of the night they came. Three timber and plywood Horsa gliders swept through the night skies, rapidly closing on their objective – Pegasus Bridge. On board, men from the Ox & Bucks Light Infantry, British 6th Airborne Division, braced themselves for landing. Along with the Royal Engineers, they would become the first British fighting force to land in France on D-Day.
Robert's memorable edition is signed and authenticated by up to TEN veterans who fought at Pegasus Bridge and one of the RAF Halifax pilots to tow the gliders. These include:
