ACE OVER NORMANDY

Before turning for home at the end of a long day providing beachhead cover on D-Day, Don Laubman and Spitfires of 412 Sqn RCAF witness the scene on Utah beach as men and armour from the U.S. VII Corps continue to pour ashore. Over the next few months, Laubman became one of the top-scoring Aces of the Normandy Campaign.

DAWN TILL DUSK

Fighter Ace Johnnie Johnson leads Spitfires of his 144 Canadian Wing back to their base after a long day of operations over Normandy shortly after D-Day. The wing flew constant fighter sweeps throughout the Normandy Invasions, before relocating to France on June 15th 1944.

Framed to full conservation standards, this outstanding piece has been personally autographed by two highly-respected Spitfire pilots who flew with the Canadian Wing across Normandy and matted to include the signature of the Wing Leader depicted... find out more HERE!
