LEISTON LEGENDS
Bud Anderson in 'Old Crow' and Chuck Yeager in 'Glamorous Glen III' take off from Leiston on the morning of 14 January 1945, for a little aerial sight-seeing tour on their last mission. Meanwhile, the rest of 357th FG would go on to record one of the most successful days in air combat history claiming 55.5 enemy aircraft destroyed.
Along with artist Jim Laurier, it's of great historical significance that both of the famous Aces depicted have personally autographed this superb print:

ADLER SCHWARM
On the morning of 12 May 1944, Major Günther Rall leads 25 Bf-109s from Hustedt airfield to engage a formation of eight hundred B-17 and B-24 bombers, plus twelve hundred escorting fighters, which are heading towards Germany to bomb six oil refineries in the area.
Jim's powerful depiction of JG11 has been personally authenticated by the legendary Ace leading the unit that day:

THE TIGER SHARKS OF CHINA
David Lee "Tex" Hill, Ace 'Flying Tiger' Pilot, catches up with other members of the 23rd Fighter Group at the Kweilin airfield in China.
Personally authenticated by three highly-regarded Aces who flew with the famous 'Flying Tigers':

SCAT ATTACK
On 18 August 1944, Robin Olds leads the 434th Fighter Squadron in his new P-38J 'SCAT III' as they strafe the German Aerodrome at Nancy/Essey, France, comprising of a large number of He-111s and Ju-88s, in a devastating attack which destroyed 43 aircraft and damaged a further 23.
Jim's powerful piece acts as a lasting tribute to the P-38 Lightning pilots who served with the USAAF and in particular the legendary Triple-Ace Brigadier General ROBIN OLDS who has personally autographed the edition.
CALM BEFORE THE STORM
With the balance of power being determined on D-Day, P-47s of the 56th Fighter Group are being readied for the turmoil ahead. With guns loaded and an extra 108 gallon fuel tank being fitted to the belly, Gabby Gabreski and his P-47 will soon lead his squadron into battle.
Signed by the illustrious commander of the 56th FG, which famously became known as 'The Wolfpack'...
