LEISTON LEGENDS

Bud Anderson in 'Old Crow' and Chuck Yeager in 'Glamorous Glen III' take off from Leiston on the morning of 14 January 1945, for a little aerial sight-seeing tour on their last mission. Meanwhile, the rest of 357th FG would go on to record one of the most successful days in air combat history claiming 55.5 enemy aircraft destroyed.

Along with artist Jim Laurier, it's of great historical significance that both of the famous Aces depicted have personally autographed this superb print:

  • General CHUCK YEAGER - 11½ victories
  • Colonel BUD ANDERSON - 16¼ victories
