FOURTH FIGHTER PATROL - Deluxe Legacy Remarque
by Robert Taylor & Richard Taylor
Climbing on full power, P-51 Mustangs of the Fourth Fighter Group patrol the skies over northern France ahead of the main force of Eighth Air Force bombers, 1944.
Now extremely rare on the Secondary Market, we’re rarely able to offer this highly sought-after print, so we’re delighted to have this copy available!
PLUS, making this piece even MORE special, a stunning Deluxe Remarque by Richard Taylor has been completed in the lower margin of the print!
What exactly is a Legacy Remarque?
Robert, along with his exclusive publisher the Military Gallery, allow a very limited number of prints to be enhanced with an original pencil remarque by Robert's talented son and renowned aviation artist, Richard. To avoid any confusion, Richard also personally signs each Legacy Remarque that he completes.
Originally released in 1987, Robert's evocative print has been personally signed by FOUR famous P-51 pilots who flew with the 4th Fighter Group:
- Colonel Don Blakeslee
- Colonel James Goodson
- Major General Chesley G. Peterson DFC
- Lieutenant Colonel Jim Clark
- Media:
- Lithograph
- Size:
- 33 x 25 inches
