NIGHT DESTROYERS - Original Pencil Drawing
by Robert Taylor
A flight of Bf110 Night Fighters climb steadily in the evening cloud towards their designated fighting zone and the prospect of encountering incoming RAF bombers.
The role of the Luftwaffe’s night-fighter force was one of the most difficult and dangerous jobs of them all. During their long, defensive campaign they became highly feared by opposition crews, but they were eventually overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and tactics as RAF Bomber Command increased their night-time offensive against the industrial heartlands of Hitler’s Third Reich.
Matted and ready to slip into a frame of your choice!
