As the battle to liberate Normandy rages, leading American fighter Ace Francis R. Gerard leads a flight of P-51 Mustangs from the 339th FG on a series of strafing attacks against German King Tiger Tanks. In the foreground a Königstiger of the 503rd Heavy Tank Battalion is moving at full speed in an attempt to flee the P-51's and to elude the threat of P-47 Thunderbolt fighter bombers ready to be called in as a special anti-tank force.
Beautifully framed using full conservation materials by our professional in house team, including a set of of replica museum quality USAF wings within the mount.
Representing both sides of the bitter fighting during the final months of WWII, this stunning SEVEN signature print has been personally hand-signed by four P-51 Mustang pilots AND three members of the German King Tiger Tanks Corps.
