As the USS Hornet pitches and rolls in the mid-Pacific Swell, the Tokyo raid gets under way. Jimmy Doolittle's B-25, safely airborne and having completed a 360 degree turn, flies over the carrier to check his compass while the number two aircraft rolls down the deck under full throttle.

This highly-prized print is signed in pencil by twelve veterans who took part in the raid, all of whom have sadly since passed away. If that wasn't already special enough, this superb collector's piece also includes:  a 'Deluxe' Remarque by Richard Taylor across the bottom border of the print showing the B-25s on route to Tokyo, a museum-quality reproduction pin of the Raider Emblem,  an original pencil portrait of Jimmy Doolittle by Richard Taylor included in the matting and an original and fully-authenticated signature of the leader of the raid, General JAMES H. ‘JIMMY’ DOOLITTLE MoH.

The THIRTEEN signatures featured are:

  • Lieutenant Colonel Richard E. Cole
  • Colonel Henry A. Potter
  • Major General David M. Jones
  • Lieutenant Colonel Chase J. Nielson
  • Staff Sergeant David J. Thatcher
  • Major Nolan A. Herndon
  • Captain J. Royden Stork
  • Lieutenant Colonel Frank A. Kappelar
