CUTTY-SARK
by Robert Taylor
The Cutty Sark was probably the most famous tea-clipper in the world, certainly one of the most powerful under full sail with a good sea running as portrayed by Robert Taylor in his memorable and much treasured canvas.
Today the Cutty Sark lies beautifully preserved in a dry-dock on the River Thames near the Greenwich Maritime Museum and very easy-to-find. The prints, however, are not, and although faded copies do sometimes appear at auction, mint or even good copies are unusual. But we do find them, so please ask!
Each print in this edition has been hand signed by the artist Robert Tayor.
