The WAAF Plotters were the unsung heroes of the Battle of Britain. Working with sightings from the Observer Corps, or Radar scans, they traced the positions of the RAF fighter squadrons and the enemy across the Sector maps of southern England, so that senior officers could direct the battle.

Mounted and framed to full conservation standards, this unique piece includes:

  • museum-quality repro RAF sweetheart breve
  • an original 1940 George VI penny
  • a photograph and a fully authenticated original autograph of the 'Forces Sweetheart' Dame VERA LYNN CH DBE OStJ

This multi-signed print has been personally autographed by FIVE WWII veterans including plotters and intelligence reporters who were instrumental in the operations rooms during vital missions of the war:

  • Sergeant Muriel Vlaanderen
  • Sergeant Amy Gavaghan
  • Section Officer Joan Fanshawe
  • Section Officer Eileen Younghusband
  • Leading Aircraft Woman Ethel Andrews
